Marcel Fortuna has over 22 years of experience in Martial Arts. He started his Jiu-Jitsu journey back in Brazil, under the Crolin Gracie Team. Just two years after earning his black-belt, Marcel moved to California where he trained and coached under Ralph Gracie for six years.

While in California Marcel also started his MMA career where he conquered the Dragon House Light Heavy Weight Belt and defended it against the number one ranked MMA fighter in the State.

In his UFC debut, Marcel defeated an opponent that was nearly 50 pounds heavier than himself; the biggest weight difference in modern UFC history. Marcel was also awarded Performance of the Night for the fight.

Marcel Fortuna’s experience on and off the main stage makes him one of the best coaches in the Midwest.
